Anything that affects or limits the fee simple title to property,

In real estate, equity is the difference between fair market
value and current indebtedness, usually referring to the owner's
interest.
Escrow
An account into which a lender deposits a portion of the borrower's
monthly payment that is used to pay property taxes and hazard
insurance premiums as they become due.
Estate
The ownership interest of an individual in real property.
Eviction
The lawful expulsion of an occupant from real property.
